The $100 Million Roundtable conference in Santa Ana Pueblo, New Mexico brought together credit union leaders from six states in 2005 to discuss financial and technology trends in the financial services industry. The 40-page report is based on the comments from the speakers and participants. A shift in marketing was noted:
A paradigm shift in financial services marketing is occurring that focuses on a deeper relationship based on information gained from an on-going dialogue with members telling marketers precisely what they want. This includes a focus on the deposit as well as the lending side of the relationship. Success will be gauged by keeping current members and growing business through an intimate knowledge of members.
